Shot on Sony Venice 2 w/ NiSi Athenas

A psychological thriller that demanded darkness- not just tonally but literally. We shot on a Sony Venice, chosen for its sensor's ability to hold shadow detail deep into the lower registers, and paired it with sharp, clinical lenses that gave the image an unforgiving clarity. That technical foundation became a safety net in the grade: knowing how much information lived in the blacks allowed me to push the exposure down further than most projects would risk, crushing shadows to the edge of visibility while keeping just enough texture to unsettle rather than obscure. The film lives in that uncomfortable space where you can almost see what's there but never quite enough.
